This past Wednesday I attended a meeting held by Green Shores NYC at the Bohemian Hall.  The agenda was to put together a list of items that are good and bad about Astoria Park and to provide suggestions on what should be done to improve things.  The atendees were broken into groups and put together a presention based on the agenda.  At the end each group presented their lists.  It was an interesting exercise and was actually productive despite the differences of the individuals.  I think what made it work was that everyone who attended truly cared about the park and had really good feedback and suggestions.
