I walked by
Astoria Park this morning under RFK Bridge and was pleasantly surprise seeing skateboarders using the new skate park. The skate park was busy with skateboarders, inline-skaters, and BMX riders. I myself can't wait to skate in the park. I've been following the construction of the skate park on mornings that I jog in the park. The skate park was the
idea of Councilman Peter Vallone Jr....so kudos to the councilman for getting this once unused part of the park into something everyone can enjoy.
