Part of the fun of riding a motorcycle is getting cool accessories to wear. I love the classic look of Bell open-faced helmets. I recently bought a Bell 500 Custom in silver flake. The helmet fits well and is light. The only negative is it's noisy in the highway...but that is to be expected of an open-faced helmet.
To complete the classic look, I bought a Halcyon WWII RAF style goggles from Low Brow Customs.
Thankfully the goggles fit right over the helmet perfectly. I am able to remove the goggles when I need to without removing the helmet. The nice thing about the Halcyon's is that the strap has a rubber layer that grip on to the helmet.

ReplyDeleteI use it for short rides....I once made a mistake and road it to work (about 22) miles...after work, it rained...not fun to ride with in the highway . I love the look. Some of the thread on the goggles are coming off...I'm worried that one day, it'll all come off.
